The Athletic Union Records consist of the constitution of the organization and minutes of meetings of the Union and its Executive Committee. The constitution is undated; the minutes document meetings from February through April of 1900 and June 1903 through January 1906. Topics addressed in the minutes include election of officers and a general manager; pay for the general manager; and selection of athletes to receive the college emblem, including several women basketball players.

The Athletic Union was established at Oregon Agricultural College to further and promote amateur athletics at the college. The Executive Committee consisted of the Union officers and the captain and manager of athletic teams. The Athletic Union was established in late 1899 or early 1900.
